Landenberg, PA -- The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Secretary today announced a public planning meeting for
Big Elk Creek State Park to present the initial development and restoration considerations for the new state park.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Monday, November 6 at Lincoln University’s International Cultural Center Auditorium, 1570 Baltimore Pike, Lincoln University, PA 19352. An overview of the planning process and preliminary design ideas will be presented, followed by an opportunity for attendees to interact with DCNR staff and offer feedback on the concepts.
Prior to organizing the November public meeting, DCNR conducted a public survey to gain feedback about what to consider as part of a master plan for both land conservation as well as recreational opportunities within Big Elk Creek State Park.
