WALKER ACCESS IN JUNIATA COUNTY TO BE CLOSED TEMPORARILY FOR IMPROVEMENTS

09/15/2022

HARRISBURG, Pa. (September 15) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the Walker Access, which provides fishing and boating access to the Juniata River in Walker Township, Juniata County, will be temporarily closed from September 19-30, 2022.

During this time, improvements will be made to the parking area.

While construction is being completed at Walker, boaters should plan accordingly to find alternate access to the Juniata River by using the Mifflintown Access upstream and the Muskrat Springs Access downstream.

The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
